ANNUAL REPORT OF THE COLLEGE NSS UNIT 2008-2009

NSS meeting was held on 27-08-2008 with 85 volunteers. 8 NSS volunteers attended International Youth Day on 12-08- 2008 organized by MDU. 18 NSS volunteers donated blood in Rotary Club in the loving memory of chatrat Ji in Santon ka Gurudawara NIT.1 Fbd. Dental check - up camp was organized with association of college Health center. 11 doctors check the 204 student teeth on dated 19-11-2008 and 20-11-2008







G.K Test was held on 13-09-2008 at 2 pm -26 students. G.K Test was held on 27-09-2008 at 2 pm -21 students. 2 NSS volunteers Mr. Manish & Mr. Bharat Kumar attended the YLTC at Rohtak w.e.f 16-09-2008 to 20-09-2008 organized by NSS department of MDU, Rohtak. 35 NSS volunteers again participated in the said Programme (Plus Polio). 54 NSS volunteers participated in Pulse Polio Programme. Exhibition cum film show : Resort of Smoking & Tambakoo organized with SWASTHAYA Association under the valuable guidance of Dr. K.P. Narayanan on 15-11-2008. Eye Check- up came on 21-11-2008. No of Patient-204-under the able guidance of Dr. A.K. Sinha-Senior Consultant Mr. Santosh- optometrist/ Mr. Arvind Pahwa Asstt. Mkt. Manager / Mr. Girish Kaushik Mkt. Executive. A meeting was held on 18-11-2008 with leader / pradhan of Rahul Colony regarding to hold the 10 day NSS camp. Decission is pending. Mr. suresh Rathi, Chairman Haryana Yuva Shakti organized," Apraadh Mukt Haryana rally " on 07-10-2008 and his team presented the programme, speech and other events in college and 100 NSS volunteers attended the same. Blood donation camp was held on 02-12-2008 jointly with "lok Utthan club, Faridabad " under the able guidance of Red Cross Faridabad was the Chief Guest. 61 Unit Blood collected. PO (NSS) attended the polio meeting on 12-12-2008. 07 day camp was organized in Rahul Colony with 50 NSS volunteers 45 college students and 05 from colony. Students visited the school and repaired the gate and newly construct the front wall of the school (spent Rs. 11,000) and distributed 151 blankets to the 151 poor family of the colony. All test Books/ stationery /exercise books distributed to 105 students of the school . NSS volunteers used to teach the school students of Nursery to vth classes to 138 students from 22-01-2008 t 27-01-2008 time 9 am to 1 pm without any break.
